If you’re looking for a fun and festive way to celebrate winter without the overwhelming crowds of larger holiday attractions, Winter Fest OC is a great option for families. This event brings together all the magic of the season in a smaller, more relaxed venue that still offers plenty of activities to keep kids (and adults!) entertained.

One of the highlights is the variety of carnival rides and games spread throughout the event. Whether your kids love spinning rides, gentle kiddie attractions, or classic carnival games, there’s something for everyone. Winter Fest also features a dedicated snow-play area where kids can enjoy the rare Southern California treat of playing in snow.
For families who love active winter fun, the ice-skating rink is a must. You’ll also find a snow tubing attraction, which gives kids a chance to zoom down a slick slope on inner tubes—always a crowd favorite. Add in a charming train ride around the grounds and a mini putt-putt course, and you’ve got a well-rounded mix of activities for all ages.

Winter Fest OC also sprinkles in lots of holiday spirit with nightly tree lighting ceremonies and plenty of photo opportunities throughout the venue. From light displays to festive backdrops, it's easy to capture those holiday memories for your family album or social media.
During our visit, one of the best parts was the light crowd. We were able to experience all the activities with minimal to no waiting, making the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable.
If your family prefers a more intimate holiday experience with lots of charm and plenty to do, Winter Fest OC offers a perfect blend of fun, festivity, and convenience. It’s a wonderful alternative to the big, packed venues—ideal for families wanting winter magic without the stress.
